These terms
These terms cover your use of cfelectrical.ca and the tools, forms and pages on it, which CF Electrical Services Ltd. ("CF Electrical", "we") operates. By using the site you accept them. Our services to a strata corporation (an Electrical Planning Report, an EV Ready Plan or project management) are governed by the written proposal and agreement the strata signs, not by this page; where the two differ, the signed agreement applies.
Information on this site
The articles, guides and tools on this site are general information for strata councils and property managers in British Columbia. They are not legal or financial advice for a specific building, and they do not replace the report your strata commissions. Regulations and utility programs change; we update the site when we can, but check the current rules before you rely on them.
Online tools and estimates
The EPR checker and the rebate estimator give indicative results from the information you enter. They are planning aids, not a report, a quote or a guarantee of any figure, rebate or outcome. A fixed price for your strata comes only in a written proposal from us.
Forms, surveys and uploads
When you send a proposal request, complete an onboarding or resident survey or upload documents, you confirm that you are entitled to share that information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Report websites and shared links
Report websites, proposal links and sample links are shared with a specific strata for its own use. Please do not publish them or pass them to third parties outside the strata and its property manager without asking us.
Content and trademarks
The text, images, guides and tools on this site belong to CF Electrical or its licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your strata's own use with the source credited. Reproducing the site's content for a competing service is not permitted. Names of utilities, programs and other organizations belong to their owners.
Links to other sites
Links to BC Hydro, FortisBC, the Province of British Columbia and other organizations are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Liability
We take care with what we publish, but the site and its tools are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, CF Electrical is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site or its tools. Nothing here limits the responsibilities we take on in a signed agreement with a strata.
